Beginnings

These feet - these sweet feet! How they warm my heart. Sounds silly - until you know they belong to my Whale class . 

A class of little children who by their laughter and smiles and simply their presence, added meaning to my days throughout this preschool year. 

The end of a school year is truly bittersweet. No way to get around it. Especially when these children are leaving our beloved building and embarking on “big school”, as we like to call it. 

While I’ll miss them more than they know, I’m filled with excitement for their next step in a journey of lifelong learning. Just like a parent, I’m cheering them on for all that’s ahead - excitedly watching as they leave our little pod and swim to places and experiences they can’t even imagine.

It may be an ending for our class as we know it - a class of Whales with silly sock feet. But, it’s truly just a beginning in each child’s life. 

May God pour out His richest blessings on each one.
