I’m Sharon,

Joyfully accepting many roles in this season of life. But some of my favorites are wife, empty-nest mom, writer, and preschool teacher. 

Before I landed in education, I dreamed as a young child of being a marine biologist. While life led me elsewhere, that love and fascination with sea life happily found its way into my preschool class of “whales.”

And along with it, a longing to write. From an early age, my grandmother instilled in me a love of nature. Although not by the sea, but rather the mountains, she taught me to appreciate God’s handiwork all around us. And just as important, to share it and His love with others. 

Writing is a way to honor that. 

Creating sea-life stories brings together my love of sea with a desire to entertain, educate, and encourage children. Watch a class of preschoolers absorbed in a book, and you can’t help but pause and appreciate the gift of a story in shaping a child.
