Frame
Frame
for everything there is a season…
Isn’t it a lovely and inviting view? It draws me in to sit and consider…
How do we develop and choose our perception - our attitude - our outlook on something?
Each depends on how we “frame” our view. We may not have the beautiful, inviting curtains surrounding it, so to speak. But, you get the idea.
How do I choose to “frame” what I’m looking at this moment or this day? The object, the thought, the person - that has my attention, my focus, or maybe my concern and worry.
I hope I choose to “frame” it with the message of His grace and faithfulness. That no matter what, there is a “but God” in the process. I learned a fact today - that this short but powerful phrase - “but God” - appears at least 200 times in scripture. I’m guessing we needed to know it … and maybe be reminded a few times as well.
“My flesh and my heart faileth (within me), but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever” Psalm 73:26
A timely reminder for me as the view in front often feels like it’s spinning in parallel to the ever-changing world around all of us.
