Quiet

Quiet

for everything there is a season…

~ come and find the quiet center ~

What a beautiful reminder the closing hymn of yesterday brought.

At my soul’s deepest depth, it yearns for the quiet center. And in the busyness of all that life these days offers - both the uplifting joys and the taxing demands - the quiet center is that much more elusive. Oh, but with most things that are hard to come by, the rewards are often so very rich. Both in the search and ultimately the finding. And when that yearning for the quiet center bubbles up from within and overwhelmingly drowns out the noise …

Where do I begin?

  • I am called to clear the chaos and clear the clutter -  in my presence and my mind.

And when I do?

  • I see with fresh eyes and heart all that really matters.

And why?

  • I have found peace and a sense of home in simply “being.”

What a beloved and treasured friend silence can be. With the closing words of the hymn, there’s a message of hope …

  • For, as we celebrate the space we gain - we are reminded that His Spirit always provides us room to spare.
