Pause

The gift of nature surrounds us when we sit still and wait…

And so, we paused....
.
I was so mesmerized by the beautiful sunrise this morning, that I almost missed what was in the opposite direction...in the western sky. It took my daughter to notice it...the unexpected rainbow. .
And so, we paused. We actually pulled the car over at the next opportunity...just happened to be our church parking lot. Somehow, it seemed no better place to admire God’s beauty.

And so, we paused.

“Now therefore stand still and see this great thing that the Lord will do before your eyes.” 1 Samuel 12:16
.
What a perfect reminder to always be looking for moments to “pause”.
