The gift of nature surrounds us when we sit still and wait…
I took this picture exactly a year ago. If I were to go outside and capture this same image today, it would look yet the same. It’s a comforting reminder for me that God is faithful. He is constant. No matter what a year may bring - God remains present.
And so, it’s also a loving reminder to live in the present. Today, my mind may feel scattered in a million different directions from concerns of the past to worries of the future. Amidst it all, I need nudging to softly land and settle in His lap in the present.
